• Mission: Operation: Bridge The Gap addresses the critical gap in mental health care that veterans may experience before accessing VA services.

• Collaboration with the VA: We work alongside the VA, not against them, ensuring veterans receive continuous support while waiting for their initial appointments.

• Immediate Access: After receiving a VA appointment date, veterans can contact Veteran Compass. Within 24-48 hours, they are connected with a licensed, veteran trauma-informed therapist.

• Therapy Sessions: The therapist provides weekly individual sessions, either in person or through a secure telehealth platform, leading up to the veteran's VA appointment.

• Post-Appointment Support: Following the VA appointment, a Veteran Battle Buddy representative checks in with the veteran to see how the appointment went and offers continued therapy with the assigned therapist.

• Free Services: There is no limit to the number of sessions a veteran can have with the therapist, and all services are provided free of charge.
